CBD stands for cannabidiol, and is the second most abundant chemical compound found in the hemp plant. Unlike the more well know compound THC, cannabidiol is not psychoactive and our bodies produce their own endogenous cannabinoids.
Please refer to your health care provider for any questions or suggestions about taking CBD with any of your current medication or supplement schedules. While CBD is naturally occurring and derived from industrial hemp with less than .3% delta 9 THC, everyone’s body reacts differently, therefore consulting with your health care provider will help guide you if you are looking to add CBD to your daily regimen.
Yes! While many operations that are vertically integrated like ours, where we grow, extract, formulate, and bottle our own products, many other companies do their own testing to ensure levels of CBD are within required ranges of the claims. We have all our products tested by third party labs at 3 different times through the process to ensure our claims are backed by other sources. We have require tests from all farms for biomass that we purchase and we also test all our own biomass and flower for pre-rolls and packaged flower jars. When making CBD infused products, we have the extract tested post extraction, to ensure any residual ethanol was removed during the extraction process and to get the CBD potency. After the infusion into the product is complete, we have the final products tested, prior to their release to market, to ensure each batch contains the amount of CBD that is claimed on the bottle. Transparency is key, which is why you will find all our test results posted here!
In short, Yes. When taking our Full Spectrum products, there is less than .3% delta 9 THC, therefore if you are given a drug test that tests for any level of THC you are more than likely going to fail. Some drug tests look for certain levels of THC, and if below that level, you will pass, but some tests, for example a drug test for a CDL license, look for any level of THC. If you are looking to take CBD but don’t want to fail a drug test, look for a CBD isolate product, not one that is made with Full Spectrum oil. We will have isolate products coming soon, so stay tuned!
While all our products are safe for human consumption, we always suggest talking to your Vet prior to giving your pet CBD. Some animals react different, and your Vet will be able to assist with dosage questions, and suggestions about how and when to use CBD for your pets needs. We are more than happy to chat with you or your Vet about what product would align with what your pet needs.
